This screen enables to group topics and/or delete topics that user considers as irrelevant.
This screen shows the top topics sorted by decreasing pertinence : to view vebatim linked to a topic, click on the green arrow sign in front of a topic.
Topic name is automatically generated and may be modified by user.
A topic is a combiantion of 2 relevant words occurring simultaneoulsy in the same text. As a result, a text can be linked to multiple topics.
To group 2 topics, drag and top topics. In the following example; 'Change Resistance' and 'Reluctance to change', 'Culture change' and 'Change Mindset' have been merged and pertinence recalculated after clicking on "APPLY" at the bottom of the screen.
To delete a topic, check the box: in the following example, 'Process & behaviour' has been omitted.
Once changes are made, click on "APPLY" at the top right of the screen.
Tip : if a word stands in more that 8 topics among the top 20 most relevant topics on this screen, it is usually an attractor, best is to delete it: ( see delete lexicons in Analysis Parameters )
Be careful that, once a project analysis is restarted, topic management is reset.
